2021年10月5日に米国普通株式のティッカーシンボルをMNDTに変更
2021年10月5日 – ダイナミックなサイバーディフェンスとレスポンスの市場リーダーであるMandiant, Inc.（本社：米国カリフォルニア州ミルピタス、日本法人：東京都千代田区、代表：Eric Hoh）は本日、FireEye, Inc.から社名変更したことを発表しました（※日本法人はマンディアント株式会社）。同社はMandiant, Inc.としてリブランドされ、2021年10月5日の取引開始時にナスダック普通株式のティッカーシンボルがFEYEからMNDTに変更されます。
今回の社名およびティッカーシンボルの変更は、導入しているセキュリティ製品にとらわれないMandiantのソリューションをクラウド型プラットフォーム「Mandiant Advantage」を通じて提供することに注力するという同社の戦略を反映したものです。この戦略に基づき、同社は2021年6月2日、FireEyeの名称を含むFireEye製品事業をSymphony Technology Group（STG）が率いるコンソーシアムに売却する正式契約を締結したことを発表しました。
Mandiantの最高経営責任者（CEO）であるケビン・マンディアは次のように述べています。
「社名をMandiantに変更することは、すべての組織がサイバーディフェンスに自信を持てるようにするという当社のミッションに合致するものです。」
