Mandiant Academy provides incident response and cyber threat intelligence analysis certifications to test your security team’s existing knowledge in these critical security domains.
Each certification exam—sold separately—is the duration of one hour in length, consists of 50 questions (multiple choice and performance-based), and is administered by a live proctor to protect academic integrity.
Participants will receive a pass/fail score after completing the exam.
Certification Benefits and Structure
Participants who receive a passing score (70% and above) are awarded a certification document and electronic badge, valid for three years and backed by Mandiant, to confirm the participant’s cyber security knowledge and expertise.
Certifications attest to a superior level and depth of knowledge in each area of emphasis.
Students must continually train/study to maintain their certification title.
Efforts account for CPE credits to help participants achieve continuing education requirements.
Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysis Certification
Verify your skills and the skills of your security team that are required to effectively investigate, analyze, and produce threat intelligence that fosters a proactive security posture.
Exam objectives are based on intense subject matter workshops, industry survey results, and the NIST/NICE framework for AN-ASA-001.
For optimal exam results, 3 – 5 years of cyber threat intelligence experience is highly recommended, along with the following Mandiant Academy courseware: (a) Cyber Intelligence Foundations, (b) Intelligence Research I: Scoping, (c) Intelligence Research II: Open-Source Intelligence Techniques and Tools, and (d) Intelligence Production.
